Kindergarten Screening – On Monday, April 15 we will hold our screenings for anyone who is enrolled in our Kindergarten for 2024-2025. There will be No School for Kindergarten only that day.
Symphony - The Students in Grades 2-8 will attend the Symphony at the JB Chambers Center tomorrow, Friday. Uniforms are to be worn. Students will be back to school for lunch.
Parking for Dismissal – With the warmer weather returning, you may find students on the playground (the parking lot) the last period of the day. Please do not pull into the parking lot if there are students playing. They will be heading back inside at 2:00 and dismissal is at 2:15. Please do not arrive before 2:00 if you are wanting to park in the parking lot. Please pass this information on to anyone who may be picking up your child.
Field Trip Reminder – With field trips coming up, I wanted to remind you all that the field trips taken by the students at St. Mary Central are part of a typical school day or part of the academic curriculum. All students are expected to participate unless the child is ill and called off school as normal protocol requires. If the student has a reason not to attend or are academically not eligible to participate (especially overnight trips such as Nature’s Classroom or Washington DC) they are expected to be in school for a regular school day.
Talent Show – On April 26, SMC will hold a Talent Show during school hours. There will be limited spots available. Tryout dates will be forthcoming. Interested students should see Mrs. Wiater for more information.
